The CRPC has transformed my life as a teacher. I came to GirlTECH in 1997 with an interest in the web and learning how to write web pages. I received so very much more as a result.

The classes during my first summer were challenging but fun, and the support of teachers and others made the giant steps achievable. In addition, support and training have continued during the ensuing years. I was able to participate in my favorite web project, Journey North, in ways that simply would not have happened, were it not for GirlTECH and the CRPC.

Most of all, my personal image has changed as a direct result of the interaction and technical knowledge so freely given to us as a community of learners and workers. In the beginning, I had little or no technology knowledge and definitely a low level of confidence in this area. The CRPC has touched the lives of many teachers and the students it comes in contact with as well. The harvest of that investment still lies in the future!
